Matt Aug - AHN Sports Editor The two top college football teams in the nation, Oklahoma and Florida, along with perhaps the top two quarterbacks, Sam Bradford and Tim Tebow, will play for the national championship on January 8 in Miami. Both programs are 12-1 and at No. 1 and No. 2 in a pair of national polls, even though they are flip-flopped in order. That fact reportedly served to strengthen the committee's belief that the Sooners and Gators are the top two programs in the nation. Florida bounced back from a 31-30 loss to Ole Miss to win nine straight games, including the SEC crown over Alabama. Oklahoma's lone blemish was a 45-35 setback to Texas on October 1, and the Sooners rebounded to win seven straight. Oklahoma's offense has been on a tear, scoring at least 45 points during that run. Bradford's numbers stand at 302 completions in 448 pass attempts for 4464 yards and 48 touchdowns. Tebow is 174-for-268 for 2,515 yards and 28 touchdowns.
