David Cook Continues To Rock His Music And His Fans

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Musician David Cook has goals for his music and one of those is to keep it real and remain true to himself and hope his fans continue to embrace him.

From the sound of things, Cook doesn't have anything to worry about. The season seven winner of "American Idol" is continuing to find success with his old school rocker style.

Celebrity News Service had a chance to catch his new song "Barbasol," a song Cook said fans will be hearing a lot of because he loves to play it. "American Idol" fans seem to be the loyal type, so CNS checked with a few to see what they thought of "Barbasol."

"David Cook's song 'Barbasol' is amazing, I have listened to it over and over again. I just love him and was so glad when he won 'American Idol,'" a Cook fan said.

For his part, Cook is also glad he won the singing reality show saying that "Idol" is an amazing platform for people like him to have an opportunity to be heard.

"I got David Cook's new album as an early Christmas present and haven't stopped listening to it. The guy rocks," another fan said.
