Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are set to team up in an untitled film project if negotiations go through.

Butler will play a bounty hunter hired to retrieve his ex-wife, to be played Aniston, who skipped bail. Production is scheduled to begin in May.

Columbia Pictures will distribute and Neal Moritz will produce through his Original Films company.

Butler and Aniston are both no strangers to romantic comedy films.

The "300" star appeared in 2007's "P.S. I Love You" opposite Hilary Swank. He will next be seen in "The Ugly Truth" alongside Katherine Heigl, while the former "Friends" actress starred in numerous rom-com flicks, including "Along Came Polly" and "The Break-Up."
