Robin Williams, Sarah Brightman This Week In Vancouver

Vancouver, Canada (CNS) - Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Grammy Award-winning American actor and comedian Robin Williams has sold out shows lined up at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver on December 9 and 10. Williams is back on the stand-up comedy circuit after a 20-year absence that saw him find success in the world of film.

Also performing will be British singer Sarah Brightman. She has her gig on December 12 at the GM Palace in Vancouver. The 48-year-old singer has a line up of shows in Montreal, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Victoria.

The 48-year-old singer started out performing disco as a teenager in the late '70s before turning to theater a few years later. She was a musical theater performer and partner of theater composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, with whom she originated roles including Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera. Her 1984 marriage to Andrew Lloyd Webber ended in 1990.

Tickets are priced between $45.40-$89.50.
