Tina Turner, Divine Brown, Danny Michel, Stars This Week In Toronto

Topics: Concerts and EventsToronto, Canada (CNS) - American singer, dancer and entertainer Tina Turner is all set to perform at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada on December 12 and 13. The Queen of Rock n Roll, who recently turned 69 last week, belts the career-spanning hits that won her eight Grammys and a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Since her October tour kickoff, she's won raves for her comeback at this age.

Canadian rhythm and blues and soul singer and theater performer Divine Brown will also be performing at the Mod Club on December 11. Her new album, The Love Chronicles, was released on August 19. The first single is called "Lay it On the Line." The second single is "Meet Me at the Roxy."
Singer-songwriter Danny Michel will also be performing at The Rivoli on December 13 to promote his latest album Feather, Fur & Fin.
Highlights of this week also include Juno Award-nominated Canadian indie pop band Stars performing at Queen Elizabeth Theatre from December 11 to 13. On September 1, 2008, the band released the EP Sad Robots exclusively through their online store and on tour. The EP is available as a physical release or an online download.
On October 20 they opened for Coldplay in Ottawa as part of the Viva la Vida Tour.
