Topics: TelevisionNew York, NY (CNS) - The last time mega-actor Tom Cruise appeared on the "Today" show with Matt Lauer, it is suffice to say things didn't go so well. Cruise got mad at Lauer and called him "glib" and the media had a heyday calling Cruise "crazy."

Celebrity News Service is glad to report that three-and-a-half years after the last incident the two have apparently made up and Cruise will sit down with Lauer for another interview on Monday, December 15. The interview will be live, so many viewers will probably tune in to see if sparks fly or if the two have indeed buried the hatchet.
Cruise will be promoting his new movie "Valkyrie" during the interview, but few will probably forget his visit in June 2005 when he chided Lauer after the host mentioned Cruise's criticism of the use of anti-depressants and psychiatry. "No, you see. Here's the problem. You don't know the history of psychiatry. I do," Cruise said at the time.
This won't be the first time the two have met since the "incident." Cruise made a surprise appearance at the Friar Club Roast of Lauer and even managed to throw the word "glib" in his speech.
In addition to the interview and his new movie, Cruise received a Golden Globe nomination Thursday for his role in the movie "Tropic Thunder."
