Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - "Desperate Housewives" star Teri Hatcher has accepted an apology from a lip cosmetic product company, which sued her for alleged breach of contract.

Last year, Hydroderm accused the Golden Globe and SAG award-winning actress of endorsing at least 22 other skin-care and cosmetic firms while under contract, which stated that she is bound to exclusively promote its anti-aging products. She was allegedly caught using and advertising competitor City Cosmetics' lip plumper, among other products.

They were seeking Hatcher's endorsement fee, $2.4 million, plus other expenses.

But on Friday, Hydroderm has issued a statement calling the 44-year-old former Bond girl a "woman of the highest integrity."

Company spokesman Joshua McCleary said in a statement E! news has obtained, "We sincerely apologize for the adverse publicity resulting from our lawsuit... Hydroderm LLC has specifically retracted all accusations made against Teri Hatcher including that she endorsed any competing products."
