Armani Flagship Store To Open In New York In February

New York, NY (CNS) - Giorgio Armani will be opening his new flagship store on Fifth Avenue on February 18. The massive 47,000 square foot store has been described by Armani as "a special project requiring a degree of courage."

"I was determined to send out a clear message of change, interpreting the current trend for mixing genres and juxtaposing items in different price brackets," Armani told WWD.

The store will be a one-stop shop and combine all of his labels under one roof to include Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Armani Junior, Armani Casa and Armani Jean lines. The location will also carry Armani accessories, watches, eyewear, jewelry and fragrances.

The location will eventually be the destination for Giorgio Armani SpA and will most likely include a flower shop, sweets store and Armani restaurant and bar.
