Woburn, MA (CNS) - Family relations aren't looking so funny to comedian Dane Cook right now. His half brother, Darryl McCauley, was arraigned Wednesday in Massachusetts on charges including forgery and larceny.

McCauley, who has worked with Cook during most of Cook's career, pleaded not guilty to embezzling millions from the comedian and was ordered held on $3 million bail. Prosecutors are alleging McCauley stole the money from Cook while being paid $12,500 a month to act as business manager for Great Dane Enterprises, Inc.

According to prosecutors, the 36-year-old comedian had suspected for some time that his brother was stealing from him. Cook, who appeared in the film "My Best Friend's Girl" with Kate Hudson and "Dan in Real Life" with Steve Carell, has released three comedy albums.

His three albums include "Harmful If Swallowed," "Retaliation," and "Rough Around The Edges: Live From Madison Square Garden." "Retaliation" became the highest charting comedy album in 28 years and went double platinum.
