Heather Locklear Placed On Probation After Pleading No Contest To Reckless Driving Charge

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Heather Locklear has been fined and placed on informal probation for three years after she pleaded contest to her misdemeanor reckless driving charge.

The former "Melrose Place" star was fined $700 and was ordered to take a 12-hour driving program.

Her guilty plea reduced the original charge of driving under the influence of prescription drugs charge.

On September 27 last year, she was pulled over by a California Highway Patrol officer after she was seen leaving a parking lot and driving erratically. She was arrested and released on the same day.

In June, she checked into a rehab facility after suffering from anxiety and depression.
