New Season Of "The Bachelor" Has A Few Surprises

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - It would seem ABC's "The Bachelor," which began airing Monday night with the first-ever single dad Jason Mesnick, wouldn't be able to surprise viewers any more. The ladies, even the stalkers, weren't that surprising -- they were expected.

The return of former bachelorette DeAnna Pappas (shown in a montage of clips of upcoming shows) turned out to be the big surprise of the night, however.

Celebrity News Service has checked out the fan blogs across the country and fans are virtually screaming that De Anna is back -- and she wants Jason for her own again. Apparently DeAnna forgot she dumped Jason for Jesse while Jason was down on one knee proposing. DeAnna has since dumped Jesse and according to upcoming promos she made a terrible mistake and wants to reunite with Jason.

"I can not believe the show brought her back, what were they thinking? She had her chance and she blew it," a fan told CNS.

Theories are already buzzing that Jason couldn't possibly have picked DeAnna, due to comments Jason has made that he "introduced" his new fiancé (yes, he says he does get engaged at the end of the show) to his son Ty. DeAnna had obviously already met Ty, so fans are hoping that is the loophole that keeps her away from the single dad and his son.

Check out "The Bachelor" on Mondays on ABC.
