Hip Hop 101 Music and Arts Festival Coming to L.A.

Los Angeles ,CA (CNS) - The Hip Hop Music and Arts Festival is coming to Los Angeles, and it's gearing up to be a big show, with lots of big names headlining.
Hip Hop 101: Music and Arts Festival will feature Ludacris, Common, Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys, relatively new singer Keri Hilson, Janelle Monae of Bad Boy records, DJ Sleeper and Visual Symphony. The festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 21 at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena, but the festivities aren't all musical performances.
L.A.'s top dance schools will perform a tribute concert, and there will be a live graffiti art exhibition and visual art installations. Those who come to the festival early will also get to see the fifth annual South Bay Music Awards.
Ticket prices range from $45 to $200. However, WantTickets.com is offering a VIP experience for the festival - VIP entry from backstage to your front row seats, open bar from 6 to 8 p.m. in the VIP pre-party lounge and entry to the private afterparty - for $150 to $200.
No matter how much you spend for tickets, the festival is sure to please. Ludacris and Common are stopping at the festival in the midst of their tours ("Theatre of the Mind" and "Universal Mind Control," respectively), while Keri Hilson is promoting her new album In a Perfect World.
