"The Expendables" Cast Line-Up: Sandra Bullock Out, Forest Whitaker In

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Rumors that Sandra Bullock is joining Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables" are just that, rumors. However, Forest Whitaker may be joining the action-packed film.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, a Nu Image/Millennium spokesperson denies rumors that the Stallone's "Demolition Man" co-star Sandra Bullock will be joining the project.

On the other hand, Whitaker is in talks to join the cast. If the negotiation goes well, he would play CIA liaison for a group of mercenaries.

Stallone, who wrote and will direct the film, will play one of the mercenaries, as will Jet Li, Randy Couture, and Jason Statham, who are sent to infiltrate a South American nation to overthrow its dictator.

The production will kick off in February.
