Glendale, AZ (AHN) - It was a wild fourth-quarter finish Monday night as Texas beat Ohio State 24-21 in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

Senior receiver Quan Cosby was the hero of the game, catching a 26-yard touchdown pass with 16 seconds to go to give Texas the win.

Cosby was the story of the night, catching 14 balls for 171 yards and two touchdowns.

"This has been us all year," Cosby told Fox Sports after the game about the comeback. "People count us out but we never give up, we never quit."

Quarterback Colt McCoy was also strong for the Longhorns, throwing for 414 yards, two touchdowns throwing and one rushing.

After being held in check the entire first half, McCoy finally exploded in the third quarter with one touchdown throwing and one rushing.

McCoy also commanded the 78-yard drive to win the game with less than two minutes remaining.

For Ohio State, freshman quarterback Terrelle Pryor was a jack-of-all-trades throwing, running and even catching the football Monday night.

Pryor's first reception as a Buckeye was a fourth quarter touchdown catch with 7:26 remaining to close the gap to two points at 17-15.

Pryor finished with 66 yards throwing, 78 yards rushing and one five-yard touchdown grab.

Running back Daniel Herron gave Ohio State the lead 21-17 in the fourth quarter with 2:05 to go on a 15-yard touchdown run.

Chris Wells was also solid on the ground for Ohio State, running for 106 yards on 16 carries.

With the win, Texas finishes the year at 12-1 and can still complain that they got jumped by Oklahoma to play for the BCS National Title.

"This team is obviously one of the best teams if not the best," Texas coach Mack Brown told Fox Sports. "Friday Morning I'm gonna vote Texas No. 1, this is the best team in the country."
