Army Chopper Crashes In Texas Campus; 1 Dead, 4 Injured

College Station, TX (AHN) - An Army helicopter crashed on a Texas university open field during a training exercise on Monday killing one crew and injuring four other people aboard.
The UH-60 Blackhawk crashed at 3 p.m. shortly after taking off from the Duncan Field of the Texas A&M University as part of the ROTC Winter Field Training Exercises of the school's Corps of Cadets.
Four members of the Army National Guard and one member of the ROTC staff at Texas A&M were aboard the helicopter when it crashed. They were taken to the St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan and the College Station Medical Center.
One of the injured died in the hospital. The names of the fatality and the other injured crew were not released.
Investigators suspect that a broken rudder caused the accident but an investigation is ongoing.
