Tampa, FL (AHN) - Arizona wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald does not mind reworking his deal as long as deep zone partner Anquan Boldin remains with the Cardinals for next season.

Fitzgerald said Wednesday he has no problem helping the team especially since it was given the opportunity of playing in the Super Bowl. The prolific receiver added he will do whatever it takes to return to the big stage.

Boldin thanked Fitzgerald for his offer, saying their partnership dates back five years ago. He said the mutual respect is there and that the job has been easy with two of them complementing each other on the field.

Behind a pass-heavy offense helmed by Kurt Warner, both Boldin and Fitzgerald continued to flourish every season. In 2008, the two combined for 2,469 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Boldin, though, started the season on a sour note, initially claiming that the Cardinals betrayed him by not honoring their promise of a new contract. He said then that he would never re-sign with Arizona.

He still has two years left on his original deal in 2005-a four-year, $22.75 million contract that paid him $4 million in 2008.

Fitzgerald has $30 million guaranteed as part of the four-year, $40 million deal he signed after the 2007 season.
