Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - "Watchmen" director Zack Snyder is doing an "all-girl cast" film that is definitely not going to be a chick flick.

Snyder has talked to Collider.com about his next project, "Sucker Punch," a new feature film he has co-written that will be "as crazy as anything" he has ever done.

He says that the film will take place in the late '60s and "it's about a girl that's been committed to an insane asylum and she fantasizes that she can escape and she has these crazy adventures in her mind where she goes into the past and into the future."

The director adds that he wants to make it an action film and that it will definitely be rated R.

Filming will kick off this fall and will hopefully be released in March 2011.

Snyder's "Watchmen" will be released on March 6. He also wrote and directed the 2007 epic action blockbuster "300."
