Paris, France (CNS) - Hip-hop mogul Sean Combs, a.k.a. Diddy, has settled a copyright infringement lawsuit filed by fashion house giant Louis Vuitton for the product placement in the girl group Danity Kane's videos and ads.

Combs, founder of Bad Boy Records, whose artists include Danity Kane, and the bosses at the music label's parent company Warner Music Group were sued by the high-end fashion brand for unauthorized use of intellectual property.

According to the suit filed in Paris, France in August, Combs' company used the LV logo in two of the now-disbanded quintet's music videos, as well as in the album packaging photos for their 2006 release.

The two parties reached a deal on Thursday, with Combs agreeing to remove all visual references to the trademarks from future releases of the said products. Details of the financial settlement have not been disclosed.

Danity Kane, formed during the third season of MTV's "Making the Band" reality series, disbanded in February.
