Topics: MusicLondon, England (CNS) - Michael Jackson has reportedly recorded more than one hundred songs which he wished to release after his death. The songs would serve as a "personal legacy" to his three children, according to his biographer.

"I was astonished by the number of songs which have been held back," said Ian Halperin, author of Unmasked: The Michael Jackson Story, according to examiner.com.
"I was told that he will not let them come out now but wants to leave them for his kids, a very personal legacy to them," Halperin added.
The collection of songs is also set to be heard by his children Prince, 11, Paris 10 and six-year old Prince Michael II.
Because of his current financial struggles, Jackson is leaving the songs as his children's inheritance in lieu of cash, a source told the website adding that the unreleased tracks would be "worth more than his current net worth when they are distributed."
The star is taking up residency at London's O2 Arena from July (09) for a 50-date comeback run which will take him through until February (10).
