Candy Spelling Being Sued By Ex-Employee For Wrongful Termination

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Candy Spelling has been hitting the news lately, mainly in regards to her nonexistent relationship with daughter Tori Spelling and their battle of continual words that has ensued. Now, new gossip is hitting the airwaves that Spelling is being sued by an ex-employee for wrongful termination.

Lourdes Serrano filed a suit on Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court against Candy Spelling claiming retaliation in her firing. She is requesting a jury trial and punitive damages.

According to TMZ, the suit also claims that the employees were required to clock out for breaks and that they didn't pay her for any downtime as required by law. The amount that Serrano is suing for has not yet been disclosed.
