Rapper Lil Boosie Arrested For Assaulting Man

Baton Rouge, LA (CNS) - Rapper Lil Boosie has been busted for assaulting an unidentified man. The artist was charged with second degree battery for assaulting a man he accused of stealing a necklace.

According to Baton Rouge, Lousiana's local TV station, police arrested the 25-year-old "For My Thugz" singer - real name Torrance Hatch - on Wednesday for the brawl.

The unnamed man was treated for the injuries he sustained after Hatch struck him with a vase.

Hatch was also arrested in October for marijuana and firearm possession. He, along with partner Webbie - real name Webster Gradney, Jr, is also the subject of several multi-million dollar lawsuits, AllHipHop.com reports.

They allegedly took performance fees but never showed up.
