Manchester, United Kingdom (AHN) - Manchester United has done it again.

The celebrated club captured a record-tying 18th Premier League Trophy after a scoreless draw with Arsenal ensured Liverpool cannot catch their north-west rivals.

Arsenal outshot Man U 14-10 and maintained possession for 61 percent of match.

United failed to even get one shot on goal, while Arsenal took it to keeper Edwin van der Sar four times, all saves.

Andrey Arshavin returned from a combination of being cup-tied and contracting a flu bug to lead the Arsenal attack.

The Russian striker dribbled the ball within striking distance several times and provided a great cross to striker Robin van Persie that sailed over the net.

Carlos Tevez subbed in to provide energy for Man U. The South American was all over the field while speculation about his future with the club swirled around Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney's future is also in question. The English striker has added an extra level of consistency to his game over the past few months that should garner several player awards' votes.

Man U seemed content to play back and ensure their goal was tight and secure, knowing all they needed was a draw to secure the English championship.

United (27-4-6) still has two games left , but has already secured the championship with 87 points, seven more than then second-place Liverpool.

Arsenal (19-6-12) has just one game left, and sits fourth in Premier League standings.
