Mountain View, CA (AHN) - Google has enhanced Gmail's appeal with a new feature that allows the automatic translation of e-mails in foreign languages to a language that is comfortable to users with a click of a mouse.

The automatic translation was made possible with the integration of the Google Translate program already used to translate web pages and blogs.

Google cited the advantage of the new feature to companies communicating with clients, employees or partners who speak different languages.

"If all parties are using Gmail, you can have entire conversations in multiple languages with each participant reading the messages in whatever language is most comfortable for them," Google said in a blog post, according to Agence France-Presse.

The Gmail translator can be activated through the "settings" menu.
