Brandy Reaches Settlement With Car Crash Victim's Children

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Brandy has reached a settlement with her car crash victim's children. The 30-year-old actress/singer has agreed to give Awatef Aboudihaj's two children $600,000.

According to the documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court and as first reported by TMZ, the two children of Aboudihaj - who died in the 2006 car crash accident after her vehicle was struck by Brandy's Range Rover - will receive $300,000 each.

Her husband, Marouane Hdidou, rejected his part of a $1.2 million settlement offer in February.

Brandy, 30, caused a four-car pileup in December 2006 in L.A.'s 405 Freeway. She was not charged with any crime, after police ruled there was not enough evidence that she committed vehicular manslaughter.
