London, U.K. (AHN) - A newly-invented knife that will be difficult to use in stabbing and keep kitchen users safe from accidental injury will be out in the U.K. market this year.
The knife, invented by industrial designer John Cornock, has a round instead of pointed tip that will snag on clothing and skin making it quite ineffective as a weapon.
"It can never be a totally safe knife, but the idea is you can't inflict a fatal wound. Nobody could just grab one out of the kitchen drawer and kill someone," said Cornock, 42, from Swindon, according to England's Times Online.
The knife will be sold from $65 to $82 apiece.
