Oklahoma City, OK (CNS) - Jessica Alba's vandalism has cost her a donation. The "Sin City" actress has made an undisclosed donation to the United Way of Central Oklahoma as part of apology for vandalizing the charity's billboards.

The 28-year-old actress apologized to the charity after photos of her plastering posters of endangered shark species in several locations in the city appeared online earlier this month. The owners of the vandalized property, including the city government and the United Way, decided not to press charges.

She already apologized for her transgression.

But apparently, that wasn't enough for her. Alba decided to make a donation to the charity in a bid to make amends for her action.

United's spokeswoman Erin Brewer told NewsOK, "We're very pleased she made a contribution," but declined to name the amount. The donation, which was sent by mail, is said to be between $500 and $9,999.

Brewer said that the contribution will be used to fund their various efforts and programs in the city.
