PETA Announces 2009's Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities

New York, NY (BANG) - PETA has announced their results for the 2009 Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities Alive poll. Country star Kellie Pickler and "Heroes" hottie Milo Ventimiglia have won the top honors for the U.S. poll.
For the international poll for women, Portia De Rossi won the award. De Rossi discussed her choice to become a vegan along with wife Ellen DeGeneres, telling PETA, "It feels like such a compassionate choice. We are such animal lovers, why stop short of cows and chickens? It didn't make much sense."
"Australian Idol" host Andrew G. took the votes for the men. He discussed his choice to go vegan saying, "The cleaner I kept my diet, the more obvious benefits I felt."
Other international winners include Taiwanese actor and singer Barbie Hsu for Asia's Sexiest Vegetarian Woman, Shahid Kapoor for Asia Sexiest Male, television host Lina van de Mars for German's Sexiest Woman, and rap star Thomas D. of Germany's hip-hop band Die Fantastischen Vier for Germany's Sexiest Male Vegetarian.
