Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - TV icon Farrah Fawcett's funeral will be held in private. Friends and family will pay their final respects to "Charlie's Angels" star, who died Thursday after a long battle with cancer.
Service for the 62-year-old star will be at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. It will be closed to the public and media.
Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006, but was declared free from the deadly disease four months later after undergoing treatment. However, the cancer returned in 2007.
She documented her illness in the TV special "Farrah's Story," which was aired earlier this year. NBC is rebroadcasting the two-hour special Monday.
