Freddy Sanchez rapped three hits and drove in a pair of runs for the Bucs, ripping an RBI single in the fifth and a run-scoring double in the seventh.
Ohlendorf and Cubs starter Ted Lilly have identical 7-6 records after the contest, with the latter picking up the loss after a solid outing in which he allowed eight hits and three runs over seven frames.
The Pirates improved to 36-41, while the Cubs dropped to 36-38.
