London, England (BANG) - Britain's Queen Elizabeth and husband Prince Philip have one of the marriages people most admire. The royal couple - who have been wed for 61 years - came in third place in the poll by viewers of Wedding TV, with David and Victoria Beckham taking the top spot and soccer star Jamie Redknapp and his pop star wife Louise polling third.
Viewers of the U.K. TV channel were asked: "Is there a married couple in the public eye to be held up as a shining example of marriage?"
Hollywood stars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith came in fourth, with while U.K. TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan bagged the fifth place.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt - who raise six children together but are not married - only received 0.5 per cent of the ballot.
Katie Price and Peter Andre - who announced they were splitting after three-and-a-half years of marriage last May - also received some votes.
The survey covered many different aspects of marriage, including whether people view the institution positively and where the most place to tie the knot is.
91.7 percent of those quizzed view marriage in a positive light, with 90 percent adding they aspire to get married.
A church remains the most popular venue for a union, with 50.8 percent saying they want to get married in a house of God.
On the flip side, 4.9 percent of those polled didn't think marriage was forever, and 4.4 percent claimed having an affair was acceptable.
