Tom Jones Moving Back To The U.K.

Los Angeles, CA (BANG) - Tom Jones is moving back to the U.K. The "Green, Green Grass of Home" singer has been living in Los Angeles for 35 years but increasingly misses life in Britain and is planning to return before the end of the year.

He said: "I've had a great time living in Los Angeles but after all these years we think now is the time to move home."

"My wife Linda's been getting homesick lately and we have talked about it for a while. Britain has always been home. I love coming here and miss it more and more when I go back to Los Angeles. It's the people and humor you can't get anywhere else."

The 69-year-old star revealed his decision to move was speeded up by his friend and former Los Angeles neighbor Robbie Williams returning to the U.K.

He added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "I decided to move before Robbie but he got here before me. I said to him, 'I've been talking about it all this time and you've gone and done it.'"

"We'd like somewhere in the country, but I think we'll get a place in London first to ease back into it."
