Votto's Four Hits Lead Reds Over D-Backs

Cincinnati, OH (AHN) - Joey Votto ripped four hits, including the game-winning single in the 10th inning scoring Chris Dickerson, lifting the Cincinnati Reds to a 3-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks Thursday,

Votto was 4-for-6, drove in his 39th run and lifted his batting average to .366 on the season.

Ryan Hanigan had three hits for the Reds, and Dickerson added a pair in the team's 14-hit attack.

The D-Backs managed just four hits, including a Chris Tracy RBI single in the second and Mark Reynolds solo homer in the sixth.

Aaron Harang was terrific in his start for the Reds, giving up just four hits and two runs over seven innings.

Francisco Cordero (1-2) got the win, despite walking three batters in his one inning stint.

Clay Zavada (1-2) took the loss by allowing Votto's clutch hit.

The Reds moved a game over .500 at 39-38, while the D-Backs fell to 31-48.
