Topics: NHLBoston, MA (AHN) - Veteran right winger Mark Recchi will stay on for another year at Boston after the Bruins inked him to a one-season deal Thursday.

Financial terms of the deal weren't made public but TSN reported that the 20-year journeyman will earn $1 million for the 2009-10 NHL season.
The 41-year-old Recchi played the final 18 games of the regular season with the Bruins and also helped the team with three goals and six assists in the playoffs.
Recchi opened the 2008-09 season with Tampa Bay and suited up for 62 games. He and a future second-round pick were then dealt to Boston for Matt Lashoff and Martins Karsums.
Recchi tallied 23 goals and 38 assists last season for both the Bruins and the Lightning.
Since his debut in the NHL in 1988, Recchi has played for Pittsburgh, Montreal, Philadelphia, Carolina and Atlanta.
He made the All-Star lineup seven times and won two Stanley Cup rings--one with the Penguins and another with the Hurricanes.
