Daytona Beach, FL (AHN) - With just three cars left to take the track, rain fell and brought an end to qualifying for Friday's Subway Jalapeno 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

Mike Wallace and Kerry and Dale Earnhardt Jr. were the only three drivers who did not get on the 2.5-mile track before the rain fell.

The field will be set via the NASCAR rulebook if qualifying is canceled.

Wallace was hoping to get a chance to qualify because he needed to make the race on time or face going home, while Terry Cook and Brian Keselowski, both of whom had already qualified, were also hoping the last three drivers got on the track.

Both Earnhardts were guaranteed in the race.

When the rains fell, Clint Bowyer was on the pole and followed by David Ragan, Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski and David Gilliland.
