Philadelphia, PA (AHN) - The body of man who drowned on Friday night in Delaware River was recovered by the rescuers on Saturday, but a boy is still missing, authorities said.
The U.S. Coast Guard, Philadelphia police and others are searching for 11-year-old boy in the water near the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge.
The authorities said it began with a family boating trip on Friday night when the boy reportedly jumped off the 16-foot boat for swimming.
Forty-three-year-old man also jumped in to help the boy. It is still not yet clear if the boy went to swim or fell off the boat.
There were three people on the boat. The third person was operating the boat, but he lost the sight of them due to the current after he halted the boat.
The three people were not wearing life jackets, the local officials said.
