Manny Hits Homer As Dodgers Fall To Padres

San Diego, CA (AHN) - Manny Ramirez hit his first homer since returning for his 50-game suspension, but the Los Angeles Dodgers still lost 7-4 to the San Diego Padres Saturday afternoon.
Ramirez crushed a changeup from Padres pitcher Josh Geer in the first inning. He went 1-for-3 and left the game in the sixth inning.
Geer regrouped to go 6 1-3 innings.
He allowed two runs on seven hits.
Everth Cabrera went 2-for-4 with three RBI for the Padres including driving in the go ahead run in the seventh inning.
