Lincecum Gives Giants Seven Shutout Innings In Win Over Astros

San Francisco, CA (AHN) - Tim Lincecum pitched seven shutout innings as the San Francisco Giants beat the Houston Astros 9-0 Saturday afternoon at AT&T Park.

The 9-2 Lincecum has pitched 23 straight scoreless innings.

He struck out nine and retired eight batters in a row at one point.

Houston's Russ Ortiz (3-4) took the loss, giving up six innings through four innings.

Aaron Rowand went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and a run scored for San Francisco.

Randy Winn scored twice and had two RBI.

San Francisco only allowed three Houston hits.

The Giants outscored the Astros 22-0 in the series' first two games.
