East Sussex, England (CNS) - Heather Mills is finally getting some good press. Mills, the ex-wife of Paul McCartney and British model, recently launched a vegan café in the United Kingdom and the Hindu community is applauding it.

Now Hindus are speaking up and asking celebrities to promote vegetarianism. Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada today, said "More world celebrities should come forward to promote vegetarianism and persuade their fans to go vegetarian, thus contributing to a healthier world."

He went on to say that besides reducing greenhouse gas emissions, it was good for ethical and health reasons also.

Mills' café called Vbites opened up in Hove Lagoon in East Sussex on July 4. The menu includes "meatless meats" and vegan treats from all around the world. Mills has been an active vegan and activist for animals and recently launched a "Meat-Free" Monday movement.
