4-Month-Old Found Dead At Day Care Center Of Apparent Heart Trouble

Tulsa, OK (AHN) - A 4-month-old baby was found dead of apparent cardiac arrest at a day care center here Thursday.

The boy was found unresponsive in a crib about 11 a.m., an hour after a day care worker checked on the sleeping child, according to police officials.

The day care center was in a home licensed to care for about 12 children. At the time, 11 other children were in the home, police said.

"There's nothing right now that appears to be out of the normal but medical examiner's office would have to make the determination as to the cause of death," Tulsa Police officer, Leland Ashley told local media.

Police said the child had no visible injuries and no prior medical conditions.
