Cowboys Quarterback Romo, Simpson Part Ways On Eve Of Singer's Birthday

Hollywood, CA (AHN) - Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo reportedly had a fallout yet again with girlfriend Jessica Simpson.

The timing couldn't have hit the pop singer any worse as the split happened on the eve of Simpson's 29th birthday on Friday, according to People.com.

The couple had been dating for 20 months, during which Simpson has been usually seen during Cowboys games.

The star celebrity has earned her share of criticisms from Cowboys fans as the team more often takes a loss whenever Simpson attends the games.

Romo was seen Friday at MyHouse during a friend's party and came without Simpson.

Simpson reportedly was to hold her birthday party with the theme Barbie and Ken only to have it scrapped following the split-up.

Several months ago, the two were close to ending their relationship but both managed to be present for the wedding of sister Ashlee Simpson.
