St Louis, MO (AHN) - A man has filed suit against Apple Inc. alleging it conspired with the Italian Mafia against him using his two Apple iPods to send threatening messages to him.

Gregory McKenna filed suit against Apple and other defendants - including the St. Louis County Police Department, an auto mechanic and unknown FBI agents - on Wednesday in a U.S. District Court in Missouri.

McKenna reportedly alleged that the defendants conspired in a scheme to stalk, extort and torture him.

Along with claiming that his home and vehicle were bugged, McKenna also claimed that the iPod shuffle he used had been configured as a receiver through which the Mafia transmitted threats against him in connection with the defendant's plot against him.

McKenna's beef with the police began after they failed to respond to his calls in a manner he found acceptable, according to reports.
