London, U.K. (AHN) - Soft drink giant Coca-Cola is testing in the European market a carbonated milk product that contains skimmed milk, cane sugar and fruit flavor.

Called Vio, the 8-ounce drink in an aluminum bottle sells for $2.47 or £1.50 and comes in four flavors citrus burst, peach mango, tropical colada and very berry.

The company, which launched the product in New York last month, touts Vio as a healthy refreshment citing its natural ingredients and calcium and vitamin C.

The Coca-Cola product is said to be facing a challenge from discriminating Britons, who failed to flock to a similar product called Britvic six years ago. However, Vio may get approval from Asians, particularly consumers in Hong Kong and Japan, where shelved milk products are popular.
