Former Child Star Dustin Diamond's New Book To Dish Entire Casts Dirty Secrets

New York, NY (CNS) - Former child star Dustin Diamond of the hit series "Saved by the Bell" is releasing a new book that will dish all of the behind-the-scenes dirty secrets about one of television's biggest and most beloved teen series. His new book, "Behind the Bell" will hits stores on September 29.

Diamond played the nerd of the series, Samuel "Screech" Powers, alongside Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Lark Voorhies, Dennis Haskins, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez. Diamond claims his role in the series made it impossible for him to escape the stereotype of Screech and prevented him from gaining other larger roles after the series ended.

Diamond's new book will chronicle everything that went down including hard-core partying, real life cast relationships, and both on and off-set gossip. He also discusses Peter Engel, the powerful executive producer behind the show.

Dustin Diamond is currently traveling around the country performing stand-up comedy.
