Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - DJ AM's reality show is pushing through. MTV is reportedly going ahead with the drug-intervention series with the late disc jockey, who passed away in August of acute intoxication.

DJ AM - real name Adam Goldstein - wrapped up filming "Gone Too Far" three days before he was found dead in his New York apartment on August 28. The eight-episode show would feature him helping drug addicts battle their demons.

The original premiere date was set on October 5, but the music network allegedly decided to postpone the date.

Now, it is being reported that MTV is speaking with the Goldstein family about the possible release date of the series.

Goldstein, who had a history of substance abuse, was determined to have died by an accident caused by acute intoxication due to substance abuse.
