Second Season Of "Legend Of The Seeker" Premieres Weekend Of November 7th

Burbank, CA (CNS) - The two-hour special begins with the first season's finale followed by the premiere of the first episode of season two on November 7th. "Legends of the Seeker" is a TV adaptation of the book series "Goodkind's Sword of Truth" written by the internationally best-selling author Terry Goodkind.

In the second season Richard, Kahlan, and Zedd (Bruce Spence, "Mad Max 2" and "The Matrix Revolutions") will encounter new challenges and new characters including a rift opened between the underworld, due to their defeat of the tyrant Darken Rahl (Craig Parker, "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" and "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers")

In this season Tarbrett Bethell joins the cast as a regular cast member playing Mord'Sith Cara who threatens Craig Horner, ("Monarch Cove" and "Blue Water High") and Kahlan's (Bridget Regan, "Sex and the City" and "The Best and the Brightest") close relationship. Also Charisma Carpenter (" Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel") will guest star in the season premiere as a Mord'Sith named Triana.

The show is known for combining elements of fantasy, adventure, magic, mystery and romance, that has been put together by the teams behind long-running series such as "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" and "Xena: Warrior Princess." The studio that produces the show are the producers of some network hits including "Lost," "Grey's Anatomy," and "Desperate Housewives."
