Krelim, Moscow (AHN) - Mikhail Youzhny extended Russia's dominance at the home event to six straight years, and Italian Francesca Schiavone recorded her second WTA Tour title Sunday at the Kremlin Cup.

Third-seeded Youzhny rallied past Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic, who was seeded sixth, as Russia extended its winning streak to six years in a row at the tennis event, 6-7 (5), 6-0, 6-4.

It was the first ATP Tour title of the season and fifth career win for Youzhny, who improved to 5-6 in career title matches.

Youzhny pocketed the top prize of $170,000.

In the women's final, eight-seeded Schiavone cruised to her second WTA Tour title with a 6-3, 6-0 demolition of Olga Govortsova of Belarus Sunday.

Schiavone, the 2005 runner-up here, broke her opponent three more times to win the second set to love, improving to 2-1 in career meetings against Govortsova.

The 24th-ranked Schiavone, playing in her second final in as many weeks, took home the trophy and the winner's purse of $157,427, while Govortsova, who lost her second career final, received $83,908.
