Topics: SoccerManchester, England (AHN) - Brazilian player Robson de Souza, commonly known as Robinho, will remain at Eastlands, said Manchester City boss Mark Hughes.

The reports linking the 25-year-old Manchester forward to a move arose following the sale of Brazil teammate Elano last season due to behavior problems.
Violations of the club's discipline standards triggered speculations that Robinho would be the next player on the block.
According to reports, Barcelona has expressed interest on the former Real Madrid striker, who is currently dealing with a foot injury.
Robinho reciprocated by reportedly indicating that he could excel as player at Camp Nou and not at the City of Manchester Stadium.
In the reports, Robinho indicated that he was not rushing back from injury with the World Cup taking place next summer, but is eager to get back into Premier League action.
Though his eagerness to return to the Citizens' lineup does not dispel earlier reports of a desire to transfer, his latest comments show that working under Hughes should not be a problem.
The Citizens will play Scunthorpe United Wednesday in the Carling Cup before squaring off with Birmingham City on Nov.1 for the Barclays Premier League.
