Reese Witherspoon Launches New Fragrance In Times Square

New York, NY (CNS) - Reese Witherspoon helped launch her new fragrance, In Bloom, with Avon in Times Square on Wednesday. The fragrance debut brought out over 100 of the top Avon representatives to the middle of midtown Manhattan for giveaways, samples, and more.

During the special launch, Witherspoon's new ad was played on the Times Square jumbotrons, while street teams distributed thousands of samples to the crowds. Guests were also able to shop with Avon Representatives and were also able to win autographed copies of the fragrance from Witherspoon.

The fragrance, which is described as a "provocative blend of feminine floral notes," is also being released in a Limited Edition Parfum that features a special gift box that includes a mix of flowers. In Bloom will also be available as a regular Parfum, body mist, body lotion, and shower gel. The scent and special gift collection are all currently available through Avon.

"The fragrance is sensual, romantic, and alluring," said Witherspoon. "It is truly indicative of where I am in my life today - I'm feeling very strong and independent, and so happy."

Witherspoon was named Avon's first Global Ambassador as a spokeswoman for their products. She also serves as the honorary chair of the Avon Foundation, a charity which focuses on breast cancer research and domestic violence prevention.
