Rumer Willis To Play A Lesbian On "90210"

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Rumer Willis is going to have a lesbian love affair on WB's "90210." The eldest daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis will be appearing in the teen series as a love interest to cast Jessica Lowndes.

The 21-year-old actress will play Gia, a lesbian who has a relationship with Lowndes' Adrianna.

Exec producer Rebecca Sinclair insists the love affair isn't a fling, saying the relationship will come from a "genuine place and not going."

She adds that the same-sex relationship plot will fill the void in the series' universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters.

Willis was last seen in the slasher film "Sorority Row" alongside Audrina Patridge and Carrie Fisher.
