Oregon Pulls Away To Rout No. 4 Southern Cal

Eugene, OR (AHN) - Oregon piled up 395 rushing yards and four different players ran for scores, powering the Ducks to a 47-20 rout of No. 4 Southern Cal Saturday,

LaMichael James led the Ducks, an AHN bubble team, with 183 yards and a score and teammate Jeremiah Masoli chipped in with 164 yards and a TD.

Southern Cal quarterback Matt Barkley found Damian Williams with a four-yard scoring strike late in the opening half to tie it at 17-17.

It was all Oregon from there, as the Ducks took a 24-17 lead on a Masoli to Jamere Holland 17 yard pass connection.

James and Kenjon Barner had scoring runs and Morgan Flint tacked on a 35-yard field goal in the third quarter to put the Trojans away.

Oregon (7-1) outgained Southern Cal 613 yards to 327 and collected 31 first downs to 17 for USC (6-2).
